BOCAS DEL TORO
Bocas del Toro is a province of Panamá. Its capital is the city of Bocas del Toro, situated on the island of Colon. The population of the province is 103 072 inhabitants in 2002. Its surface is 8 745 km2 and it consists of 9 main islands. We find numerous plantations of banana plantain there, often called the agricultural wealth (oro verde) of the Central America.
